Spring has arrived! Warmer weather and summer plans are calling! The Wisconsin Historical Society is ready to welcome you to our historic sites and museums! Check out our offerings below as well as an update on National History Day and opportunities to engage with WHS all summer long! 
A Summer of Historic Fun!
Bring your summer camp, club, or scouting group to any of our sites and museums for a historic outing at one of our eleven museums and historic sites. With locations all around the state and activities to satisfy the most history-curious of minds, you can enjoy the history of our state in the manner of your choosing!

Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month Resources
Modern Jungles brings the story of the Hmong diaspora to life through the eyes of a young Pao Lor. In Modern Jungles, Pao Lor shares his inspiring coming-of-age tale about perseverance, grit, and hope. Included are discussion questions for use by book clubs, in classrooms, or around the dinner table. Download the free secondary education materials today!
National History Day: State and Beyond!

Amazing young scholars from all across the state of Wisconsin competed for a chance to advance to the national contest in Maryland! Hands-On History All Summer Long

Hands-On History brings research-based, best practice, museum education into the classroom. Our onsite 1-hour sessions are designed to engage the minds and excite the imaginations of young history explorers. Aligned with the Wisconsin Standards for Social Studies and designed for grade bands K-2 and 3-5, these sessions will enhance your classroom study of Wisconsin's past.

Our new transition space in Madison is open and accepting reservations for Fall of 2023! With programming centered around  content and standards Wisconsin teachers need, our team is ready to help enhance your classes' studies of Wisconsin history!

Wade House Summer Camp Now Open!
