Wisconsin : Our State, Our Story Free Digital Edition
In support of our community of educators, we are making the digital edition of Wisconsin: Our State, Our Story available at no charge through the end of June. Each of the twelve chapters is packed with primary source research opportunities for Wisconsinites of all ages and is designed to meet or exceed Department of Public Instruction Social Studies Standards for students in grades 3–5. Also available at no charge is the complete Student Activity Guide.

Create Your Own Public Information Poster
The use of arts and artists to both build morale and emphasize a particular point of view has been commonplace throughout the history of the United States. Using the resources included in this lesson, create your own public information poster. In keeping with what is going on around us in the world today with COVID-19, the posters will either have a public health and safety message or they will have a call to action to help promote social change, well-being and community spirit.

PBS Wisconsin and Milwaukee PBS, in partnership with the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction (DPI), announce an ambitious new tv broadcast schedule to support At-Home Learning, accompanied by curriculum-aligned digital resources.

Information for Educators and Homeschoolers
On March 24, 2020, Secretary-designee Andrea Palm issued Emergency Order #12, Safer At Home Order. This order became effective at 8:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 25, 2020. The order requires all individuals present within the State of Wisconsin to stay at home or at their place of residence, with exceptions. Under the order, public and private K-12 schools remain closed for pupil instruction and extracurricular activities, except for facilitating distance learning or virtual learning.

Play a Part in Literature
Are you interested in helping write a book for teens on Wisconsin gay history and give your students to do some authentic primary source analysis? Consider having your group take a survey for the forthcoming book "We Will Always Be Here: A Reader for Uncovering, Exploring, and Understanding LGBTQ+ Activism in Wisconsin."

The book will include primary sources from Wisconsin's history with the LGBTQ+ movement and we are trying to figure out how teens react to these sources and which ones we should include. The survey would take about 20 minutes to complete and your group would only have to help us with one chapter (but we have five separate surveys for each chapter if there is additional interest.

In recognition of your time and effort, we will include everyone who filled out a survey in our acknowledgements by listing their first name, last initial, and city. We also will be doing a drawing from all complete surveys for 2-$25 Amazon gift cards and 10-$10 Starbucks gift cards.
